Hambleton Paddlers 

We are Hambleton Paddlers, based at Carlton Lodge in Carlton Miniott, and we're a family friendly paddling club. We paddle all water based craft, Canoes, Kayaks and SUP's and aim to introduce as many people as possible to the pleasures of paddling. We paddle on the lake at Carlton lodge every other Thursday in the Spring and Summer months and you'll find us at Catterick Pool in the Autumn and Winter months practicing skills. We get out to Sleningford water mill for Park and Play sessions as well as organising white water paddling trips too. We promote the personal performance awards and for those who wish to aspire to the coaching side of the sport, we have an active support scheme.

If you would like to come along for a taster session please drop us an email and we can arrange a date for you to come down, we have all the kit you need and our fantastic instructors will take you out on the water.

If you are a seasoned paddlers,  just have the basics and/or have your own kit and you'd like to know more please email us.

Established in 2002, Hambleton Paddlers Canoe Club is a family-friendly club which offers a wide range of activities and events catering for everyone from the novice paddler learning about the sport to those who enjoy an adrenalin trip.

We organise SUP, Canoe and Kayak events for paddlers of all ages and abilities and are usually held within a few miles of the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire. 

How to find us

We paddle at Carlton Lodge Lake every other Thursday in the Spring and Summer months. If you'd like to come and give it a go please email hambletonpaddlers02@gmail.com as it is by appointment only (the lake is owned by Carlton Lodge and we only have access at certain times).
